Winter Walking
From December to April, there are free guided winter hikes every Tuesday in Saalbach and every Thursday in Hinterglemm.
Meeting point: every Tuesday at 10 hrs at the Saalbach Tourist Office and every Thursday at 10 hrs at the Hinterglemm Tourist Office. The walk takes approx. 3 hours, it is not necessary to register.
Snowshoe Tours
Snowshoe tours take place in backcountry terrain - and offer a truly unique experience of nature. Different weather conditions alter the terrain daily, so hikers must assume responsibility for themselves, or join one of the many guided tours. Snowshoes are available to hire from one of the local sport shops.
Potential routes include
- Lengau - Lindlingalm, along the right banks of the Saalach, close to the winter hiking and cross-country trail
- Reiterkogel middle station, above the cross-country ski trail towards the Rosswald Hut
Tobogganing
A toboggan ride is fun for people of all ages - and you can go as fast or as slow as you like! Toboggans are of course available to hire...
Spielberghaus
Daily ascent with the piste machine possible from Spielbergweg Dam, reservation required
Reiterkogel
Use of the Reiterkogel cable car in Hinterglemm (including evening ascents) is included in valid ski passes. Single tickets are also available. Open daily from 8:30 to 16:15, evening ascent on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6 pm to 9.30 pm (floodlit until 10.30 pm).
Horse-drawn sleigh rides
Could there be a more romantic way to travel through the snow-covered landscapes than on a horse-drawn sleigh ride? This is possible at Lindlingalm on request from 20th December.

If you are arriving after 8:00 p.m., we kindly ask you to inform us in advance. Your room will be ready for check-in from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival – on the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.
Garage parking space – Our garage is available at a rate of €18.00 per day (free of charge in summer).
Outdoor parking space – €5.00 per day in winter.
Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. and check-out is until 11:00 a.m.
Late check-out? Would you like to enjoy your departure day a little longer and travel home only in the evening?
Upon short notice and by request, it is possible to stay in your room until 5:00 p.m. and use our wellness area, allowing you to start your journey home completely relaxed.
For this service, we kindly charge €50.00 per person (for a double room or suite used as single occupancy, €100.00 per room).
Dogs are allowed upon prior registration. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or wellness area.
For small dogs, we charge €20.00 per night, and for larger dogs (from 50 cm shoulder height), €30.00 per night (both rates exclude food).
Our dog house rules must be observed and signed before arrival (at the latest upon check-in).
The Joker Card is already included in the hotel price during the summer and offers many free attractions in Saalbach Hinterglemm and the surrounding area. Free use of cable cars, tennis courts, mini golf, outdoor swimming pool, and much more.
NEW Mobility Ticket Salzburg
The new ticket for all overnight guests in the state of Salzburg is valid for all public transportation in the SalzburgerLand throughout your stay. The Guest Mobility Ticket is valid on city transport, regional buses, S-Bahn trains, regional trains, long-distance trains, and Salzburg Verkehr shuttles.
As a hotel guest, you receive a 10% discount at Sport Bründl. Online reservations are possible (12% discount for online bookings).

The nearest lift is the Bernkogel Lift, just 50 meters away.
The Turmlift and Kohlmaislift are also easily accessible, and the ski run leads directly to the hotel’s doorstep.
Ski passes can be purchased anytime at the reception. (American Express is not accepted for ski pass payments.)
