The Herzlstube opens in December
In the background of the awarded Gourmet Restaurant, the team next to chef Helmut Leitner is already preparing themselves for culinary highlights in the Winter.
Also this year the Herzlstube, with its cosy and stylish atmosphere, got awarded with 13 points of the gourmet guide Gault Millau. Even further, the host family Enn and the team is especially proud of this years award, of 85 points (2 forks) from the gourmet guide Falstaff.
Culinary treats at the highest level
In the Falstaff guide the following can be read: „Close to nature, tasty and sustainable. The hotel has four stars and a great spa. The kitchen scores with fresh and local products and a mixture of classic and Mediterranean.”
For the food the Herzlstbue marks 44 out of 50 points and also for the service, wine list and the atmosphere the restaurant is awarded with high scores.
The Gault Millau writes: The menu contains a good selection of dishes from high quality. The piquant marinated beef tartare with colorful crisps and green asparagus tasted extraordinary good. Tender and flavorful in perfection was also the deep fried fawn on potato-lamb´s lettuce salad. We want to highlight the daily fresh fish offer with dover sole and sea-bass wrapped in salt. For dessert we chose the delicious chocolate cake with fine nougat heart and blueberry sorbet. (…)
For the Falstaff restaurant guide and the Gault Millau independent testers evaluate the restaurants. They don’t reveal themselves, so the experience the same as every other guests. The high valuation in both renowned guides’ gives family Enn and the team additional motivation to offer their guests also in the future culinary treats and enjoyment on a high level.
