The art of creating gourmet cuisine with the highest quality ingredients and the unswerving commitment of the entire team ensures culinary excellence. The kitchen is known far beyond the regional borders for its consistent and high quality.
Austrian classics and international gourmet fare still feature on the menu -chef de cuisine, Patrick Spitzer is managing the kitchen.
Fresh design for pure flavour
Herzlstubn has been a worthy recipient of a coveted Gault Millau Toque and 11,5 points since its very inception! Culinary speciality weeks in the pre-Christmas and spring seasons guarantee special pleasures of the palate - in stylish and pleasant ambience.
Tasteful times and superior service: in keeping with Hotel Kendler values, meals are created here exclusively from a range of fresh and regional products, accompanied by the very finest wines.
During the hotel conversion at the end of 2017, Herzlstubn’s direct access from the pedestrian zone was relocated to the front part of the hotel and is now furnished completely in alpine lounge design. A crystal curtain created by regional designers forms its outstanding centrepiece.

Herzlstubn has been listed with a coveted Gault Millau Toque and 12,5 points (2024) since 1999! It has also been listed with 1 Fork and in the Fallstaff Gourmet Guide since 2004 - currently 85 point (2024).
These annual awards bear testimony to the restaurant’s consistent high quality, while reflecting the hosts’ desire to offer its patrons nothing but the very best.

Evening menu from 7 pm to 9.30 pm
Our restaurant Herzlstubn is open from December to April for the winter season. (Monday and Tuesday evening closed)
